Besides the heart, the human circulatory system consists of a network of closed branching blood vessels and the blood that circulates continuously in all parts of the human body. The human heart is a muscular organ which is as big as our fist. It has four chambers, two upper chambers called atria and two lower chambers called ventricles. The right side of the human heart is separated from the left side by a dividing wall, which is known as septum.
