The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that it would set up metal detectors at JEE Main 2018 exam centres . The national-level engineering entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 08, 2018. The rule to set up metal detectors has been rolled out for the first time to make sure that the entrance exam will be conducted in a rigid and fair manner.

The examiners should not carry any sort of electronic devices into the examination hall. The metal detectors will be set up to screen the candidates whether they are carrying electronic devices or not. Earlier, there were instances of cheating in JEE Main exam . A few candidates were found carrying Bluetooth-enable devices to stay connected with people outside the exam centres and seek answers to questions.
CBSE clarified that the candidates must refrain themselves from carrying calculators, electronic watch and mobile phones into the exam hall. For entry into the examination hall, the examinees will have to produce JEE Main admit card and any Proof of Identity like Aadhaar card/ passport.
This year, over 1.3 lakh candidates are expected to appear for JEE Mains examination.

Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2018 must practice numerous mock tests for better score and rank in the examination. The candidates must have a good JEE Main Preparation Strategy Since the candidates have only two weeks to prepare for the exam, they need to be more consistent while revising the JEE syllabus . It is also mandatory to have an awareness of JEE Main 2018 Exam Pattern .
