NEW DELHI: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is planning to migrate the state-level entrance examination, Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) for admissions to engineering and pharmacy courses to the virtual online mode. The Expressions of Interest (EoI) have been invited by CEE via a notification dated March 26, 2022. The bid for the same can be submitted by agencies having registered offices or branches in Kerala. Such agencies should be capable of conducting the KEAM exam in CBT mode on a large scale in a professional manner.
Need for change in KEAM exam pattern
Due to the increase in the number of applicants for engineering entrance examinations, CEE wants to entrust the conduct of the exam to the appropriate agency. Moreover, CEE will supervise the online examination process directly.
Where to submit the bid?
The Expressions of Interest (EoI) should be submitted either by hand or by registered post addressing Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 69500l. The EOI should be submitted on or before April 13, 2022.
Major benefit
Keeping in view the current mode of exam, students are not allowed to make any changes in the already marked MCQs in the OMR sheet. Once the exam pattern switches to online mode, it will be in the interest of candidates and they will be able to change their answers if required. Whereas for authorities, the tedious task of printing papers, arranging OMR sheets, and scanning the answer booklets will be reduced.
