Central Police Recruitment 2023: Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin wrote a letter to the Union home minister Amit Shah regarding the inclusion of the Tamil language in the CRPF CBT examination. The exam had sections for two languages, Hindi and English. The minister called it unfair for non-Hindi speaking states like Tamil Nadu to become a part of the paramilitary force. Tamil Nadu CM Plea to Include Tamil in Central Police Recruitment 2023

As per the report, the CRPF recruitment 2023 is expected to fill a total of 9212 vacancies and out of which 579 posts are to be filled in Tamil Nadu. In this context, MK Stalin is questioning the government to start including regional languages in the CRPF recruitment exam so that non-Hindi speakers can get a fair chance to participate in this opportunistic paramilitary recruitment drive.

On further speaking over the issue, the chief minister took a jibe at the use of only English and Hindi in the Central Police Recruitment exam and remarked the act was discriminatory and unilateral. The minister also pointed out that the CBT examination carries almost 25 marks for basic Hindi comprehension which is impossible for a non-Hindi speaker to attempt.

Stalin's Letter to Shah Concerning Central Police Recruitment 2023

Tamil Nadu CM seems to display a strong determining attitude in bringing a major update to the Central Police Recruitment 2023 process. Stalin on April 9 wrote a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah seeking immediate intervention into the matter of eliminating discrimination from the CBT exam conducted for recruiting paramilitary forces.

He wants the government to offer equal opportunities to states like Tamil Nadu which is resided by maximum non-Hindi speakers. The minister urges the government to include the Tamil language in the computer-based examination for ensuring an unbiased exam process.
