CISCE has reduced the class 10, 12 annual exams syllabus for 2022. The board has reduced the syllabus for English and Indian Languages for both ICSE and ISC 2022 board exams
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has reduced the syllabus of Class 10 and Class 12 for the next academic year. The decision to reduce the syllabus was taken after the consultation with its subject matter experts and ensure that the quality of content does not get affected.

Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive and Secretary, CISCE released an official statement for all the heads of all affiliated schools regarding the reduction of ICSE and ISC syllabus. He further stated that students can access the revised syllabus for the 2022 exams from the official website of the board cisce.org. According to him, it is important that the concerned subjects' teachers transact the syllabus strictly as per the sequence of topics given in the syllabus. This process will ensure that all CISCE affiliated schools are teaching the same topics at any given point in time.
The ISCE and ISC class 12 board exams 2021 had to be cancelled this year due to the second wave of COVID. The CISCE class 10, 12 results 2021 will be released on the basis of internal assessment and candidates' past performance.
