Former President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee launched QS I-GAUGE , a UK-based nation-wide higher education rating system on March 21, 2018.
Addressing the gathering during the launch of QS I-GUAGE, former President of India pointed that enrolling youth into the colleges and channelize those forces into the right path is one of the biggest challenges that the nation is facing today. An explosive situation in the country will come into prevalence if these students are not directed towards the right path in the career.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of the university administrations to consider these aspects and promote quality education . If quality education is accessible to students, they will be automatically directed towards the right path in career, he explained.

Adding further, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee indicated that the corporate sector must give more emphasis to research . The corporate sector can promote quality research by appropriate expenditure or investment. However, the investment from corporate sectors to promote research in India is highly limited.
The nation can’t become superior and competitive unless people have a creative and innovative mind. Creativity is something that does not come out automatically, and it needs proper tuning. It is the responsibility of the society to nurture the creative minds, he highlighted.
