CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023 Registration to begin on July 30: Important instructions

CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023 Registration: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will be conducting the CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023 for admissions to vacant seats for NITs, IIEST, IIITs, SPAs, and other-GFTIs. Only after the seat allotment process of JoSAA Round 6, the registration process for the CSAB will open. As per the schedule released, C SAB Special Round Counselling 2023 Registration will open on July 30, 2023 . The registration window will close on August 7, 2023, at 12 PM . Eligible candidates are invited to register themselves and participate in the counselling process.

CSAB Counselling2023 will be conducted by NIT Rourkela through the online portal of CSAB - https://csab.nic.in . The process will conduct only two special rounds to fill out the vacant seats. Candidates shall register fresh, and undergo choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, and payment of fees to complete admission. The Round 1 of Seat Allotment for the CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023 will be released on August 8, 2023, at 8 PM, based on the choices filled by the candidates at the time of registration and choice filling. The last date to fill out the choices is August 8, 2023, at 12 PM.

CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023: Important instructions

Here are some important instructions related to the CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023 registrations:

• Candidates will have to provide their basic details, email ID, mobile number, and JEE 2023 results to register.
• After registration, candidates will have to complete the form online at the website and pay the required registration fee (non-refundable) through the online payment gateway.
• The choice filling window will open after the registration for candidates to fill out their choices fresh as per order of preference.
• CSAB also declares that candidates occupying a seat in DASA-2023, will not be allowed to participate in the CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023, and will have to withdraw their seats before applying for CSAB.
• Additionally, if candidates are already occupying two seats (one from JoSAA 2023 and another from DASA-2023), candidates must surrender any one of the seats, before the CSAB Special Round Counselling 2023 Registration begins. If not surrender, any one of the seats will be cancelled.

Further, as soon as the seat allotment is released, candidates shall choose from "Freeze", "Float", "Slide", "Surrender", "Withdraw", and "Exit" Options. Candidates who choose to accept the seats will have to report online and pay the admission fee for the allotted institute online. Candidates will also have to report to the allotted institute in person on August 14, 2023 (tentatively).
