What is CTET Normalisation?

CBSE announced that it will implement a single normalisation technique to calculate CTET marking calculation. This decision has been taken considering a large number of question paper sets on different dates of CTET December 2022. Suppose the average marks of a subject on a day were 100/150 and 140/150 on the other day, then as per the CTET Normalisation Scheme, the marks will be normalised to a certain score to equalise the overall level of difficulty of CTET examination. This technique ensures a fair system of checking for all applicants. The normalisation method is implemented in all CTET exams that were concluded till 7th February 2023

How does the CTET Normalisation Affect CTET 2023 Result?
