  • India’s First Lighthouse Festival in Goa: ‘Bhartiya Prakash Stambh Utsav’ or the Indian Lighthouse Festival was concluded in Goa. this festival was organised to promote Indian Lighthouses as tourist destinations in future.

  • Home Ministry Asked NGOs to Declare Assets from Foreign Fundings: In a recent notice circulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has asked several NGOs to declare their assets received and developed from foreign aid. This has been done after two new amendments have been added to pre-existing Foreign Contribution Rules.

  • USA Recognises Independence of Two Pacific Island Nations: Joe Biden, President of the United States of America has announced to recognise the independence of two small Pacific nations, the Cook Islands and Niue as a Charm Offensive Strategy to stop further Chinese aggression.
