  • Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Launches National Policy and Scheme for Pharma-MedTech Sector: Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Health and Family Welfare of India, launched the National Policy on Research and Development and Innovation in the Pharma-MedTech Sector in India on September 26. This policy promotes new research in the pharmaceutical industry with traditional medicines, medical devices, and phytopharmaceuticals.

  • Ministry of Tribal Affairs Launches ‘Amazon Future Engineer Programme’ in EMRS: The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs have released the Phase II of Amazon Future Engineer Programme to promote coding and other engineering skills in 54 Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Telangana.

  • FSSAI Urged Consumers and Vendors to Not Use Newspapers to Store Food Items: The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has recently released a directive raising concerns over the harmful effects of the ink used in newspaper printings having bioactive materials. The FSSAI has urged all food vendors and consumers to immediately stop the use of any newspaper in storing any food item.
