The makers of Rafale fighter aircraft, Dassault Aviation announced its collaboration with the well-known College of Engineering Pune (CoEP) for a partnership on skill development. Both the involved parties are going to be partnered for the long term.
As per an official statement, the Dassault Aviation and CoEP partnership includes the launch of ‘Aeronautical Integrated Design form Engineering to Maintenance’ and the first ‘Network of Excellence’. The partnership will be benefiting from the aeronautical experience, advanced technology and knowledge of Dassault Aviation.

One of the many objectives of the partnerships includes boosting global partnership between France and India in the field of higher education. It will comprise exchanges between the College of Engineering Pune (CoEP) and French academic partners of Dassault Aviation: ESTIA and ISAE-ENSMA.
The first Network of Excellence that will be launched by the partnership will contribute to the development of research, entrepreneurship, and training in strategic military and civil aeronautical fields in India.
In order to prepare students for aeronautical challenges in the country, a ‘Curriculum of Excellence’ will be executed. The curriculum will be implemented with a ‘French touch’ which will be acquired through internships at different aircraft manufacture plants and academic semesters French partner institution of Dassault Aviation.

With the partnership, Dassault Aviation proves its commitment to promote ‘Skill India’ initiative and global skill development. Through youth professional fulfillment, Dassault is also contributing to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
