Delhi University is hosting a placement-and-internship fair from April 7 to April 9 for eligible students. It was announced in a statement that the Central Placement Cell (PC) at the University of Delhi is organizing a Job Mela (placement and internship fair) with the support of the University of Delhi's Dean of Students' Welfare.

According to the university, the job fair would be held in a blended mode, and agreements would be made according to the interests and needs of companies. Currently, more than 18,000 students are registered on the placement portal from approximately 80 colleges and an equal number of postgraduate departments of the university.
The campus held its first Job Mela in the illustrious history of the university and provided appropriate placement and internship opportunities to qualified students with the support and participation of companies, the statement added.

As per the statement, CPC's vision is to provide continuous opportunities to undergraduates and postgraduates students studying the various fields of Science like Physical, Life and Applied Sciences, Commerce, Mathematical Science, Social Sciences, etc..
The university invited companies to help students prepare for placements.
In addition to corporate representatives, NGOs, research organizations, and government authorities were also invited to the job fair.
