Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) located in Indore is all set to offer Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in Entrepreneurship from the coming academic session. The main objective behind launching this course is that Entrepreneurship is the most sought after specialisation in MBA in the present day scenario.
Most of the top B-Schools in India offer full-time and executive programme in Entrepreneurship. Various institutes like Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore , Indore and Ahmedabad have set up incubators in their institutes for training and assisting the entrepreneurs in starting their venture.

International Institute of Professional Studies or Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya will offer the course in Entrepreneurship. B.K Tripathi, Director of International Institute of Professional Studies, revealed that the course plan had been sent to Board of Studies of Management for approval. The Board will study the proposal and give the approval soon. Once the course plan is approved, the course will begin from the academic session 2017-18.

International Institute of Professional Studies has been planning to start the course with the intake of 60 students for the first batch. The intake will be increased as per the response it receives from the students.
The varsity is also planning to launch an entrepreneurship cell to guide the students who are interested in starting their ventures or business. In the current scenario, the demand for Entrepreneurship in MBA is increasing manifold. Most of the students who graduate with an MBA have plans to start their business or ventures. Therefore, the course that will be launched by DAVV will help these aspirants.
