Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra will now conduct an entrance exam for admission to four-year long integrated B.A./ B.Sc - B.Ed courses . The entrance exam for admissions 2018 will take place in an online mode on 7th July 2018.
Until last year, admission to B.A./B.Sc-B.Ed course was done on the basis of merit. However, from now on, DTE Maharashtra has decided to conduct an entrance exam from the 2018-19 academic session which will be mandatory.
B.A./ B.Sc - B.Ed CET 2018 Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed class 12th from science/ humanities with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for CET for the Integrated B.Ed programme. However, the minimum pass percentage for the reserved category candidates is 45%.
Given below is the complete schedule of CET 2018. The online registration for the entrance exam has already begun from 11 May 2018.

The B.A./B.Sc-B.Ed course will be offered in 10 colleges that mostly under Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and North Maharashtra University , Jalgaon . The central government has been pushing the universities and colleges to introduce more integrated courses for a long time now. In the education budget 2018 , it was announced that integrated programmes would be made compulsory for colleges from the 2020-21 academic session.
