Jaipur-based Arch Academy of Design invites applications for it All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED-2017). The exam is conducted for offering admissions to undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes in different specialisations of design for the academic session 2017 onwards. AIEED tests the Logical Reasoning & problem-solving aptitude of the student.
AIEED Exam is conducted in two phases:
- SERIES 1
- SERIES 2 (this is subject to no. of seats available, if at all)
AIEED exam is conducted in two formats:
- Online Exam
- Centre based Exam (Offline)

Eligibility Criteria for the AIEED 2017 Examination:
For UG Programmes:
- Candidates must clear their 12th exam from a recognised board like ICSE/ CBSE/ state board/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exams
- Candidates with valid NATA score and AIEEE rank are not required to appear for AIEED. They will be called for an interview directly
- Minimum age limit of students is 16 years
- Students studying in Class 11 are also eligible to take the AIEED exam. Students who qualify are eligible for direct admission in Academic yr 2018, post clearance of the interview
For PG programmes:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University
- Student who has appeared their final year exam can also apply
- As per Pearson-Edexcel guidelines, students who are above 19 years of age are eligible for the Strategic Management & Leadership Programme as well as the Design Management Programmes

Candidates who have taken the CAT/ MAT exams can also apply for Strategic Design Management and Strategic Management & Leadership with their respective scores. It is mandatory for such students to clear the AIEED exam as well as the Interview, and even submit their SOP prior to the Interview

Selection for Process for Design Programmes Basis AIEED:
The selection of candidate is strictly on the basis of the merit. For the section, candidates have to go through the following process-
- AIEED exam result ( CAT / MAT / AIEEE/ NATA score in the respective course
- Review of performance in past education record
- Performance in Interview and Portfolio Scrutiny
How to Apply for the AIEED Test:
- Aspiring candidates have to apply online and fill up the form to register
- An Application Fee of INR 1500/ has to be deposited along with the application form
- Aspiring students can also send the fee through Demand Draft

Aspiring students have to send their scanned photograph and scanned copies of mark sheets of class 10th and 12th and all past examinations along with the application form
Application Process for NRI students:
- Passport copy after attestation
- Certificate of Equivalence from their respective Embassy, acknowledging & affirming the educational qualifications of the candidate
- Attested proof of status of NRI/Foreign national
- DD of Rs. 100 $ in favour of ARCH Educational Society
