The authority has declared the news via its official social media 'X' page. Also, there is no further announcement of when the same will be activated which was initially scheduled to start on November 7. Candidates, who need to make corrections to their submitted online GATE application form, should stay connected with the GATE official page and keep it checking regularly to get the latest updates. Note, that for the candidates, who will submit the GATE application form after correction by the stipulated date, the authority will release the admit card for them on January 3, 2024 .
GATE 2024 Application Form Correction: Steps to Follow
The mode of correcting the GATE 2024 application form is online only. The candidates should refer to the following steps to make corrections in the GATE application form 2024.
- Vist the official website of GOAPS
- Candidates should log in to their account using the login credentials such as enrollment number/ email ID and password
- Candidates should make corrections on the official website
- Click on the submit button
Note, if the candidates want to change the previously entered GATE exam centres and papers, they will have to pay additional fees.
GATE 2024 Application Form Correction: Particulars that can be Edited
Candidates will only be allowed to edit some of the particulars in the GATE application form. Check the list of editable particulars here:
- Change of gender
- Category
- PwD status
- Dyslexia and other similar learning disorders
- Details of parents/ guardian
- College name and location, Roll number, and registration number
- Exam paper
- Exam City
