Instructions regarding photograph and signature for GATE 2024 RegistrationGATE 2024 Registration: IISc Bengaluru will activate GATE 2024 registration today, August 24, 2023. Candidates willing to appear for the examination can do so by registering and filling out the form in an online mode. The application window has opened on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in . Eligible candidates will first need to register and then use those credentials to fill out the GATE 2024 application form. They will also need to upload certain documents such as photographs, and signatures. Applicants who upload incorrectly sized postcard-sized photos, signatures, and other prescribed certificates may have their applications rejected.

GATE 2024 Registration: Instructions regarding Photograph and Signature
Uploading certificates is one of the crucial steps that one must follow. Without uploading certificates, candidates will not be able to pay the application fee and complete the GATE 2024 registration process. The instructions to upload documents are given below.
Instructions to Upload Photograph
- The candidates will have to scan their passport-size of dimensions 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
- The photograph must be in JPEG/JPG format and of size 5 KB to 200 KB.
- The photograph should cover 80% of the face including ears against a white background.
- If someone uses spectacles regularly then they can keep them on for the photograph.
- Kindly note, that computer-generated photographs are not acceptable.
- If the photograph uploaded seems to be hand-made or computer-made then the application form will be rejected.
- Applications without the photograph will also be rejected.

Instructions to Upload Signature
- The online application form requires candidates to upload their full signatures in running handwriting in dimensions 2 cm x 7 cm.
- On white paper, the candidate should sign his name in blue ink or black ink.
- They must scan and upload the document.
- The file size should be between 5 KB to 200 KB.
- Signatures should also be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format.
Note: A passport-size photograph is to be used for uploading on the online GATE 2024 application form and also for pasting on the attendance sheet at the examination centre.
