GATE 2024 Registration Last Date Extended without Late Fee

GATE 2024 Registration Last Date Extended: IISC Bangalore has extended the last date to register online for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) without a late fee to October 5, 2023. Earlier the deadline for submitting the application form without late fees was September 29, 2023. Applicants who are eligible and interested in appearing for the national level postgraduate engineering exam this year must fill in their GATE application form 2024 through the official web portal i.e., gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The applications must be submitted before the deadline, otherwise, students will be charged with a late fee penalty. GATE 2024 registration and application process involves registration, filing the application form, uploading documents, paying the application fees, confirming the payment, and downloading a copy of the application. The GATE 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on February 3, 4, and 10, 11, 2024.

GATE 2024 Registration: Steps to Apply

The step-by-step instructions to register for GATE 2024 examination are as follows:

Step 1 : Go to Gate 2024 official website.

Step 2 : Search for the ‘GATE Apply Online’ link on the home page and click on it.

Step 3 : Register on the portal by clicking on the link provided above. The credentials for GATE 2024 login will be generated.

Step 4 : Using GATE 2024 login credentials, enter the portal, and open the application form.

Step 5 : On the application form, enter your personal, academic, communication, GATE paper details, photo identity number, and type. Enter your GATE 2024 examination venue preferences as well.

Step 6 : Check if the information provided is correct, and then upload your photograph, signature, and photo ID.

Step 7 : Enter the OTP on the slots provided to get a  unique enrollment ID. Once done, click on ‘Submit’ to get directed to the payment page.

Step 8 : On the payment page, choose your preferred mode of payment, enter information regarding the same, and get the payment done.

Step 9 : Review the information and press ‘Enter’ to complete the process.
