GATE CE 2020 topper Ajay Singhal wants to become an IAS officer and serve the nation. Read the success story here.
GATE 2020 results were out on March 13, 2020, and Ajay Singhal has emerged as the topper of Civil Engineering (CE). He scored 90.77 in GATE CE paper , and it has been a noteworthy achievement for him, as more than 6,00,000, candidates appeared for the entrance test. On the other hand, the number of candidates opted CE in GATE 2020 was also high.
Being an IIT Roorkee graduate, clearing GATE with a top rank was always in the top priority list of Ajay Singhal. He completed his B.Tech in 2018 from this premier institutes. In his first attempt of GATE, Ajay secured low rank, and he was not disappointed. He re-appeared for GATE this year and emerged as the topper of Civil Engineering stream.
Even though Ajay has been securing offers from top multi-national companies, his only aim to become an IAS officer and serve the nation. He had already cleared the Prelims exam of UPSC Civil Services. Now, he is preparing for the Mains examination and is very closer to achieving his dream.
Ajay’s father, Rajesh Singhal runs a Chemist shop in Unchain. He was very happy with his son’s achievement and hoped that he would see him as an IAS officer soon. Ajay’s mother is pursuing first-year B.Tech in MNIT Jaipur.
