Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) , is commencing BTech courses with specialisations in Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML), Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) Design, robotics, medical electronics, automation, data sciences and cybersecurity from the next academic cycle.
This comes after realising growing demand for AI and IoT and its significance in the coming future. Professor N Siva, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of GITAM stated that GAT 2020 will be held at 50 centres across India from April 11 to 21, 2020. Adding to that, he said that getting into 19 BTech, 12 MTech and BPharma courses depend on rank obtained in the entrance exam.
The programmes to be introduced are BTech programmes of Civil, ECE, Mechanical and CSE with specialisations in AI & ML and IoT, EEE specialisation with Robotics and Automation, CSE specialisation with Cyber Security and Data Science, Mechanical Eng specialised with Smart Manufacturing and Electric & Hybrid Vehicles and ECE specialisation with VLSI Design.
The new programmes in MTech are Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing Technology & Automation, Mechanical Engineering with Computer-Aided Engineering and Civil Engineering with Computer-Aided Structural Analysis.

The end date to register for GAT-2020 is 30th March 2020, of which the results will be declared on 25th April 2020.
