Government Engineering College is situated in Bharuch, Gujarat, and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. The college offers five undergraduate courses in the engineering stream. A total of 480 seats are available for admission across all programmes. To get admission in any of the five programmes, candidates need to qualify in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). The exam was held on April 18 and the results are supposed to be announced by 20th May.
For admission to Government Engineering College Bharuch, apart from qualifying in GUJCET, candidates must have passed their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
