ICSE Class 10 English Literature Answer Key 2023ICSE English Literature 2023 Analysis: The English Literature paper was said to be more difficult than the English Language paper and even lengthier. Students said that they found the poetry sections to be tougher than that of the drama. The paper has only 16 multiple-choice questions, each for one mark, while the remaining 64 marks questions are completely descriptive, making it a usually lengthy paper and the same was obtained in the analysis.

- As per the preliminary reviews received by the students, ICSE English Literature 2023 paper was said to be ' Moderate '.
- "My opinion might be different than others but I found the poetry section to be more difficult than the drama," a student said. "The overall paper was somewhat lengthy too. I could complete it in time but I think I won't score more than 65 to 70 marks."
- "The paper was lengthier and tougher than I expected," another student reported. "It wasn't that bad but I could have done better. Poetry was tough."
- "Drama had easy, direct, and scoring questions. MCQs were easy too. Though a bit long, it was overall good. I expect above 70 marks in this at least."
- An English Literature teacher from a Delhi school reviewed the paper, saying, "The paper was moderate. While the drama section was easier than poetry, if the students have prepared well, they would be able to score well in both sections. The paper was lengthy to an extent but it was expected. CISCE expects direct answers and if answered accordingly, students should be able to complete it within time."
