The Indira Gandhi National Open University has won the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2016 . The event took place at the Indraprastha College for Women and the winning team got a week long trip to the amazing Sweden. The winning team comprised of the following 3 students and they won the title by beating 10 other teams.

The quiz competition was the annual intercollegiate competition in which 11 cities participated. All the teams were from known and reputed colleges. The following cities were a part of the final round:

- Ahmedabad
- Pune
- Kolkata
- Bhubaneswar
- Bangalore
- Guwahati
- Hyderabad

Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Week and the theme of the competition was Swedish contributions - “Sweden Makes in India".
Indraprastha College for Women's principal said that the college was really excited to host the competition second time in a row and was content with the feedback they received. He expressed his best wishes to the winning team for they won a week-long all-expense paid trip to Sweden where they will visit the headquarters of global Swedish companies, Swedish Universities and the Nobel Museum among other places.
