IIM Amritsar conducted the noted Tata Crucible Quiz - seen as India’s largest and highest-rated business quiz for college students. IIM Amritsar was the first runner-up of the zonal round, which took place in Delhi on March 8, 2020. Sebin John Michael and Aditya Gurjar from IIM Amritsar will now take part in the national finals to be conducted at a later stage.
Total of 104 teams had taken part in the quiz. Earlier, teams from Guru Nanak Dev University, IIM Amritsar and Global Institute reached the finals in the regional category. IIM Amritsar was the winner and Aditya Gujral and Sebin John Michael won a cash prize of Rs.75,000. Pratik Salve and Akash Rai from IIM Amritsar were the first-runners up and won a cash prize of Rs.35,000.

Tata Crucible - The Business Quiz’s objective is to bring together some of the sharpest young corporate minds from India for the toughest business quiz. Tata Crucible began in 2004 and garnered a good response, it was seen as a high-quality business quiz in the first year and now it is held annually. As per a commissioned research, Tata Crucible Campus Quiz is seen as the highest-rated ground quiz by the students of the participating colleges.

Initially, for the first ten years, the quiz took place in three parts. Since 2014, it is conducted in 2 parts annually - one is the Corporate edition wherein all the corporates i.e Tata and Non-Tata come together and second is the campus edition for the students across India. Both these editions have national finals post the city and zonal rounds. So far, 15 editions of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz and Tata Crucible Campus quiz have been conducted so far.
