After the successful launch of the India-Japanese study centre , Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) is gearing up to launch the Israel Study Centre to give impetus to the academic collaboration between India and Israel. The official launch of Israel Study Centre at IIM Bangalore will take place on November 5, 2017, where the Consulate General of the State of Israel (in Bangalore) will be present.
Israel Study Centre at IIM Bangalore will mark 25 years of India Israel partnership. The academic and business ties between the two countries will further enhance through the Israel Study Centre.

Israel Study Centre works with a motive to consolidate academic ties between IIM Bangalore and institutions in Israel. The centre will promote mutual learning influencing Indi-Israeli business ties in the domains of start-ups, technology and innovation. The study centre will also take up joint research projects.

Expressing his thoughts on Israel Study Centre at IIM Bangalore, H.E Daniel Carmon (Israel’s Ambassador to India) indicated that in order to transform education institutes in Israel into real centres of learning, the government is keen on collaborating with institutes across the country. Collaboration with IIM Bangalore will give a boost to technology and innovation in Israeli institutes, he added.
In November 2016, President of Israel (Reuven Rivlin) visited India and also signed more than 20 agreements with the heads of Indian universities. Research partnerships, student-faculty exchange programmes and academic cooperation are the major objectives of these agreements.
