The Indian Institue of Management (IIM), Calcutta is ready to introduce the six-month Executive Programme in Communication Strategies for Corporate Leaders (EPCSCL). The same is to begin in January 2020.
The programme will incorporate both classroom and virtual sessions, wherein Direct to Device (D2D) mode will be used every Saturday from 9 am to noon. Besides Saturday, students will have to attend classroom sessions at the IIM-Calcutta campus.
The first stage of the campus visit will be organised between the programme and the last one will be held at the end. The visit will be for three days.

Conceptualising start-ups, communication analytics, augmentation/persuasion, cross-cultural business communication, business investigations, oratory evaluation, etc. are to be covered in the curriculum.
Working professionals can also take part in the programme for which they must have at least 8 years of experience. Interested candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline with not less than 50 per cent marks.
The IIM faculty will evaluate the candidates on the basis of two exams. Candidates who don't secure good grades in both these tests will be given only a participation certificate instead of grade-card and successful certificates along with participation certificates.

The last date to apply for this programme is November 30 for which applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs 1.26 lakh and for campus module, Rs 36,000 has to be paid. An application fee of Rs 1000 also has to be submitted.
The Programme Director Professor Apoorva Bharadwaj said that the programme will make way for leaders with the capability of making their business's vision and mission effective with new strategies of communication.
