After a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had been signed between the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) and the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Mussoorie, plans are being made to develop a new programme for businessmen, bureaucrats and politicians.
As per the plans, the Institutes are designing a new curriculum to provide a joint training programme to the bureaucrats, businessmen and the politicians. The objective of the programme will be to facilitate a better understanding between the members of the fields.

In a statement released by the Director of IIM Indore, Professor Himanshu Rai, the Institute is thinking of partnering up with LBSNAA to design a blueprint for the “Executive Training Programme”. The aim of the programme is to gather politicians, businessmen and bureaucrats in one place and facilitate a conversation between them. This will further facilitate a better understanding of each other's fields and will also help in addressing various issues and obstructions faced in the fields with respect to Ease of Doing Business.

Prof Rai added that the blueprint for the IIM-LBSNAA Executive Training Programme is expected to be completed by January 2020. He states that the world is now focusing on the topic of Ease of Doing Business. With the introduction of the programme, the institute is trying to make the topic relevant to the context of India. Among the other goals, the programme is expected to develop better coordination between the lawmakers, businessmen and officials, while also accelerating the growth of the country.
