The Centre for Development Management at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur has invited applications from the eligible candidates for Summer School for Future Leaders Development programme. It is six-week duration programme that is being jointly organised by Stanford School of Public Policy at Duke University (USA) and IIM Udaipur.
The Summer School bring students from prominent universities, staff members from Indian NGOs and students from Duke University together.

About Summer School for Future Leaders Development Programme: -
- The programme aims at future development leaders who are seeking a bright career in the academic field.
- Each participant of the programme will be a part of a three-member team comprising of a student from Duke University, Indian university and NGO.
- Each team will have to spend 2 ½ weeks in the hosted by regional Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) working in urban slums or rural villages.
- The responsibility of each team is to identify the gaps in existing responses to community needs.
- Further, the team will have to prepare a detailed project proposal including a cost-benefit analysis, budget, implementation plan and a needs appraisal.
- The proposal should be prepared in the form of a presentation.
- Each team will have to study the governance and ownership structure of the NGO and assess its weaknesses and strengths with respect to implementation and financial sustainability.
- After the successful completion of the programme, the participants will receive a certificate from IIM Udaipur.
- Students who are willing to apply must note that Master’s degree is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree is enough for the professionals from NGOs and social enterprises.
- The programme is not open to Ph.D. candidates.

All the selected candidates will receive a scholarship and the participants will have to pay Rs. 20,000 as a token charge. Accommodation and boarding will be provided to students at IIM Udaipur.
