IIT Bombay hosts E-Yantra Game Inventor Competition 2023 : Indian Institute of Technology Bombay hosts E-Yantra Game Inventor Competition 2023. This programme is sponsored by the Ministry of Education. Through this robotics outreach programme, the organizers want to utilize the capabilities of young engineers to solve various problems associated with the use of technology in manufacturing, agriculture, home, defense, service industries, and smart city maintenance. Students, teachers, and colleges are trained via this program, and learning is imparted through solving real-world problems via technology. The programme primarily focuses on “learning by doing”.
E-Yantra Game Inventor Competition 2023: Key details
Below are the types, and comprehensive details on all E-Yantra Game Inventor Competition 2023:
E-Yantra Robotics Competition : This competition is organized to help students learn while competing with others, and compete while they are learning. This competition is a hardware Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) available worldwide.
E-Yantra Innovation Challenge : For this, E-Yantra provides a platform where students develop their Innovation and Entrepreneurship skills. They learn to implement prototype solutions to real-life problems.
E-Yantra Setup Initiative : This initiative is designed for teachers and colleges where they are trained through ‘Project Based Learning’ and real-life problem solving with the use of technology in a physical lab.
E-Yantra Schools Robotics Competition : This is similar to E-Yantra Robotics Competition but it is a junior version. It is designed only for international school children studying in Class 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.
E-Yantra MOOC : This is an online platform designed to provide Massive Open Online Courses to working professionals from different backgrounds, and students.
- eFSI : Through this initiative, students are taught to develop smart agriculture projects or Test Beds to solve real-world issues.
E-Yantra Game Inventor Competition 2023: Highlights
The highlights of E-Yantra Game Inventor Competition 2023 are as follows:
To date, 207300 students have benefited from the courses provided by E-Yantra.
Over 3250 colleges have been trained.
Five hundred-plus internships have been offered to students.
Over 400 labs have been set up.
The technologies used by E-Yantra are 3D printing, image processing, loT, embedded systems, Python, machine learning, drones, augmented reality, and blender.
