IIT Delhi students have secured the third position at Indian Formula Engineering Design Competition, and the team is preparing for the worldwide design competition, which is scheduled to take place on July 22.
In the recently held Formula Bharat 2022, an Indian Formula student-style engineering design competition, it was the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi's student-led Automobile Club – AXLR8R Formula Racing which secured the honour of grabbing the third position within the electrical car class.
The venue of the competition was the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and it took place from January 20 to 25. The event was attended by a considerable number of 40 engineers of the IIT Delhi manpower.
A variety of ranks were secured by the students with the third position in the electrical car class and the second place in static occasions under the engineering design occasion. The institute secured the third position in the price and manufacturing occasion, the second position in the perfect powertrain award, and the top rank in greatest battery design.
The team captain of IIT Delhi's AXLR8R Formula Racing, Dharmik Bapodara opined that it took enormous struggles for their team of 40 driven engineers who toiled day and night continuously with the motive to reach the desired success.

As per the declaration of IIT Delhi, the AXLR8R team is preparing for the worldwide design competition FSAE Italy (ATA) which is going to take place on July 22.
