International Management Institute or IMI New Delhi has reopened the application process for the admission to PGDM course. The registration for PGDM course concluded on December 12, 2016. However, most of the students who scored an excellent percentile in Common Admission Test or CAT 2016 requested the institute to reopen the applications. As of now, the students need to fill the online application form on or before January 20, 2017.

Shailendra Nigam, Chairman of IMI (Admissions), revealed that the institute has taken requests made by aspirants into consideration and has reopened the application process to give a fair chance to the candidates who scored top percentiles in CAT 2016.
For applying to PGDM course at IMI New Delhi, the candidates need to access IMI's official website and fill the online application form. The cost of application is Rs. 2,000 and can be paid online.

IMI New Delhi follows an admission procedure which is only based on the merit of the candidates. CAT or GMAT score will be taken into consideration while shortlisting the candidates. These candidates need to appear for essay writing, psychometric test, extempore speaking and personal interview. The candidates will get admission only if they get through all the rounds of the election process.
PGDM course at IMI was introduced in the year 1993, as there has always been an increasing demand for professionals from the management field. Students from diverse fields opt to pursue PGDM course in IMI. It is regarded as the first corporate business school in India which receives funding from various corporate houses across the country.
