This year, the biggest celebration related to World Tourism Day will be conducted in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The UNWTO will be going to highlight the Global Tourism Investment Framework and hold a high-level panel series to focus on the challenges and opportunities related to investment in tourism. Along with it, today the audiences in the program will find the names of the winners of the inaugural UNWTO Women in the Tech Startup Competition for the Middle East region.
Aim of World Tourism Day
The World Tourism Day aims to be a call of Action to the international community, multilateral financial institutions, governments, development partners, and private sector investors to tie across a new tourism investment strategy.
On World Tourism Day 2023, the UNWTO is going to emphasize Tourism and Green Investments. This day will try to bring out the importance of World Tourism in front of the presenters.
