New Delhi- The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the round 2 JoSAA seat allotment result on September 28, 2022. The result will be announced on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates will have to provide their JEE Mains 2022 application number and password in order to access the JoSAA round 2 seat allotment results. - Candidates who are allotted a seat based on their first preference will not be able to use the Float & Slide option. They can either Freeze or Withdraw
- The candidates will have to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 35,000 (General) or Rs. 15,000 (Reserved), in order to accept the seat
- Candidates, should upload the required documents that are required in order to complete the JoSAA seat acceptance process
- The Float & Slide option will be available to those who did not get the college of their first choice. Such applicants will also have to pay a seat acceptance fee
- For candidates who have chosen the float option will have to go through dual reporting

- The first step is to upload the required documents. If there is a problem in the documents, candidates will be notified the same by email or SMS
- Once the candidates upload and submit their documents, the seat allotment slip will be generated
