Important Instructions for AP PGECET Counselling 2023: AP PGECET 2023 counselling is expected to commence in the month of July by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Candidates who have successfully cleared the AP PGECET 2023 exam will be eligible to take part in the AP PGECET counselling process. The authorities will hold separate counselling for GATE / GPAT qualified candidates and AP PGECET qualified candidates. The AP PGECET counselling 2023 process includes steps consisting of counselling fee payment, reporting at centres, verification of documents, choice filling and seat allotment.  However, APSCHE has mentioned a few instructions that every candidate participating in the counselling process must follow. Important Instructions for AP PGECET 2023 Counselling

Applicants participating in the AP PGECET counselling 2023 can follow the instructions mentioned below carefully.

• Every candidate must upload the documents like admit card, AP PGECET rank card, GATE / GPAT score card, income certificate, migration / transfer certificate to mention a few for verification purposes. Applicants, at the same time, must pay the requisite counselling fee before the deadline
• Candidates have to pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 1000 for general and OBC category students and Rs 500 for SC and ST category candidates in the online mode
• The income certificate uploaded for verification purpose must be issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer after January 1, 2023
• For SC and ST category students, integrated community certificate must be uploaded only after getting it duly signed by the Mandal Revenue Officer
• All necessary documents to be uploaded for verification must be original in nature. The authorities can cancel the candidature of any student if xerox / scanned copies of certificates are uploaded
• Similarly candidates need to produce all original educational certificates for verification of certificates
• In case the verification officer raises an objection with respect to improper / irrelevant certificates being uploaded, then the student will get another chance to re-upload the correct certificate. In case if the objection still exist it can lead to cancellation of the candidature of the applicant
• The preliminary verification status will be intimated to the candidate in their registered mobile number through SMS
• All communication regarding verification of documents will only be communicated through the registered mobile number
• In case a candidate qualifies GATE / GPAT and AP PGECET, then he / she will be able to use the marks scored only in one exam
• The list of registered candidates will be published by APSCHE on its official website and it is equally important for candidates to verify the details mentioned on the AP PGECET registration form as given on the list. In case of discrepancy found, candidates must report to the concerned authorities and get it corrected as these details will be important during the seat allotment process
• During the choice filling process, the detailed course list and participating colleges will be displayed. Candidates who have qualified both the exams i.e. GATE / GPAT and AP PGECET, can choose their preferred course and college by entering their registered hall ticket number
• Every candidate must take preferably a coloured print out of their marked choices i.e. their preferred course and college for future reference
• After the deadline of choice filling is over, the authorities will process the choices marked and notify the candidates of their allotted course and college through SMS on the registered mobile number if the student
• The date of reporting to the allotted college will be intimated via SMS to candidates and they are required to be present on the mentioned date and time at the allotted institute for submitting the original documents and verification purposes
• The final allotment of seat will be subject to satisfactory document verification and producing the receipt of the fees paid
• The allotment order and joining report will be issued to the candidate at the allotted institute itself on the day of reporting. Applicant has to submit the joining report and the original transfer certificate to the college
• Candidates must carry two self attested xerox copies along with the original certificates on the college reporting day
• If any candidate is not satisfied with the college / course allotted they can exercise their options again. In that case, the option exercise in the first round will not be counted and marked as null
• The allotment of seats to AP PGECET qualified candidates will only be available after the seat allotment process of GATE / GPAT qualified candidates subject to seats remaining after allotment
• If any candidate wants to cancel his / her admission they are required to contact the principal of the allotted college

Candidates must keep the original certificates along with two self attested xerox copies of the following documents in place well in advance of commencement of the counselling process.

AP PGECET 2023 Seat Allotment

The seat allotted to qualified candidates will be notified in the form of text message (SMS) on their registered mobile number. Every candidate must report to the college allotted on the prescribed date and time with the provisional seat allotment letter. The final allotment order will be issued to the candidates on the same reporting day in the college. The AP PGECET seat allotment 2023 will be done on the basis of the preferred course, availability of seats and the score in the entrance exam.

Who Will be Eligible for AP PGECET Final Phase Counselling?

There are certain criterias that a candidate needs to fulfil in order to be eligible for AP PGECET final phase counselling. Only the candidates who fulfil the following criteria will be eligible for counselling in the final phase.

• The candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase of counselling but wish to change their allotted college
• The candidates who participated in the first round of counselling but was not allotted any seat
• The candidates who did not take part in the first round of AP PGECET counselling inspite of being called
• The candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round of counselling but failed to report to the allotted college
• The candidates who were allotted seats in the first round of counselling but he/ she cancelled their admission
