As per the reports, London has ranked as a top city for students across the globe, with Indian students making up the fourth-largest category. The study also revealed that overseas students contributed 3.45 billion pounds to UK’s economic value.
Apart from London, the top student cities in the latest edition of QS Best Student Cities Rankings include Tokyo, Melbourne, Montreal, and Paris. The best students cities are determined on the basis of following factors:

As per the study conducted by the Mayor of London’s promotional agency London and Partners (L&P) , Indian students are among the dominant group of international students in London. The study also indicated that international students play an important role in the growth and economy of the UK.
Indian students account for fourth-largest student market after China, America and Italy in the city. An Indian student tends to spend around 30,100 pounds and has contributed to 137 million in the economy. International students make-up 41% of the London’s entire student population. Apart from this, QS Rankings revealed that London tops the list for the highest number of globally-ranked universities . It has also shown great improvement in the student view and now ranks 13 in the list.
