Day 4 & Shift 2 of JEE Main 2021 Phase 4 was conducted on September 01 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There was no Shift 1 exam conducted for this day and only one shift was being conducted in the afternoon. The exam pattern of JEE Main 2021 was as per the new pattern, according to which, the question paper consisted of a total number of 90 questions (including 30 NAT questions). There were 10 NAT (Numerical) questions (instead of 5) in each section, and the candidates were required to answer any 5 from each section. There was no negative marking for the wrong attempt for NAT questions, and -1 marks deducted for a wrong attempt in case of subject-specific questions.

JEE Main 2021 1st September Shift 2 Overall Analysis

The question paper did not comprise many high-level questions

The Physics section was easy to moderate but lengthy
The Chemistry section was the easiest of all with mostly NCERT-based questions
Mathematics section was a bit lengthy but the difficulty level was between easy and moderate
