JEE Main 2023:
A notice has been released for the candidates of Tamil Nadu by the National Testing Agency on the official website. They were in the process of inviting applicants from 15th December onwards. But candidates who passed the Class 10 examination in 2021 of the Tamil Nadu State Board have made few representations. Because of COVID outbreaks, Class 10 examinations for 2021 were canceled. Due to this, no marks were given on the mark sheet and a disclaimer is printed in every subject with a ‘pass’.
Thus, it has been decided that when candidates complete the online application form for JEE (Main) - 2023 Session 1, they will select ‘Passing year’ as 2021 and ‘School Board’ as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.) For Tamil Nadu State Board students who pass Class 10 in 2021, the Result Mode field will be disabled and the associated fields for Marks/CGPA will appear invisible.
A candidate who has already completed the application form and paid the fee, with the passing year of 2021 and a school board of Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.) will still be subject to the same rule, i.e. Result Mode will no longer be visible and Total Marks, Obtained Marks, and Percentage of Marks will remain invisible in the JEE Main 2023 application form.
