After the Bombay HC decision, NTA released a circular announcing the partial relaxation in the eligibility criteria. Those candidates who has not yet applied for JEE Main 2023 can do so now & its important instructions and the direct link is available here.

JEE Main Application Form 2023: After the decision of non-postponement given by the High Court of Bombay, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released a circular that relaxed the 75% eligibility criteria for admissions through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling rounds. Hence, the dropper candidates who were not yet eligible to apply for JEE Main 2023 can now do so before the original deadline of January 12, 2023. Do note that these applications are only for the first session and separate forms will be released for the second session in April.

Important:

The deadline for submission of online application form is only until 9 PM on January 12, 2023.
The deadline for application form fee payment is until 11:50 PM on January 12, 2023.

Steps to apply for JEE Main 2023

Step 1: Registration: Candidates must first register on the portal by entering their personal details and creating a password. This will be used for all further logins.

Step 2: Application: By logging in, the application form link will be available. Fill it out as instructed and upload the required documents. Check all the details once before making the final submission as a correction opportunity will not be provided.

Step 3: Fee Payment: The fee is to be paid via online modes only through Net Banking, UPI, or Credit/Debit Cards (except Master/Visa Card). The fee per paper is:

General/EWS/OBC-NCL Males – Rs. 1000/-
General/EWS/OBC-NCL Females – Rs. 800/-
SC/ST/Female/PwD/Third Gender – Rs. 500/-

JEE Main 2023 Session 1 will be conducted as per the given schedule on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, & 31; while JEE Main 2023 Session 2 will be on April 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, & 12.
