JoSAA Seat Allotment 2023 for Round 2 Releasing Today : The JoSAA seat allotment Round 1 Result 2023 was declared on June 30 and now the Joint Seat Allocation Authority is set to release the seat allotment for Round 2 today, @ josaa.nic.in . Candidates who registered for Round 2 or chose the ‘Float’ or ‘Slide’ option in JoSAA seat allotment 2023 Round 1 can visit the official website to know their seat allotments. The tentative release time for the JoSAA seat allotment 2023 for Round 2 has been provided here. Candidates will be provided seats based on their filled choice list during registration and the marks obtained in the JEE Main 2023 examination.

Once the seat allotment is released, candidates can either choose the freeze, float, or slide option based on their preference. The ‘freeze’ option means that the candidate is willing to lock the course and college allotted to them and not participate in the subsequent rounds. The ‘float’ option means that the candidate is willing to lock their seats but participate in the subsequent rounds as well. The ‘slide’ option indicates that the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to them but wants to change the course. For all these options, candidates need to mandatorily pay JoSAA seat allotment 2023 fees to be considered for seat allocation in the next rounds.
