JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2023: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has published the results of JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2023 at josaa.nic.in. Candidates with allotted seats in round 2 can proceed with the fee payment and online reporting process now. The last date for online reporting is July 10, 2023. At the time of online reporting, candidates have to select 'Freeze'. 'Float', or 'Slide', based on if they wish to take admission at the allotted seat or instead go for betterment. It is also to be noted that preference #1 allotted candidates will have their seats 'Auto-Freezed' and thus the other two options to them will remain unavailable. Important Instructions to be followed after JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2023
Candidates who obtain a seat in the JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2023 are required to go through certain instructions notified by the official instructions.
- Students are allotted seats based on their JEE Main/JEE Advanced merit, choices filled, availability of seats, etc. The allotted aspirants are required to download the provisional allotment letter and make a seat acceptance fee payment of Rs 35,000/-. After the successful payment candidates have to reach the Reporting Centre (RC) for verification of documents.
- At the time of reporting, candidates have to opt for any one of the options in accordance with their preference i.e., ‘Float’, ‘Freeze’, or ‘Slide’.
- Candidates with an allotted seat and opting for the ‘Float’ option are open to upgradation and admission to higher preferred institutes and courses.
- Students can select the ‘Freeze’ option if they accept the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds of JoSSA 2023 counselling.
- Those opting for the ‘Sliding’ option will confirm their allotment but will also be open for admission into a higher preferred course within the same institute.
- After the verification of documents, Students have to report to their allotted institutes as per the schedule notified by the exam authorities to confirm their admission.
- Those who do not make payment will not be allowed to move further in the subsequent JoSSA counseling round.
