JoSAA Seat Allotment 2023 for Round 6 Releasing TodayThe Joint Seat Allocation Authority is all set to release the last round which is JoSAA round 6 seat allotment result today, on July 26, 2023 , in online mode. As per the schedule, the JoSAA round 6 seat allotment list will be available at 8 pm . However, considering the previous round's trends, there might be a delay of 2-3 hours in releasing the JoSAA seat allotment result for round 6. Hence, the round 6 JoSAA seat allotment will be released tentatively by night today.
JoSAA Round 6 is the final round of seat allotment for IITs. Also, it can be stated that there will be very few seats left in the participating colleges for JoSAA round 6. Since this is the final round of seat allotment, therefore, the candidates will not get further opportunities to upgrade their seats. Hence, they should accept the seat and pay the requisite seat acceptance fees. Post that the candidates should complete the online reporting to the respective colleges on or before July 28, 2023 .
Before reporting to the allotted colleges, the candidates should upload the required documents. If the candidates fail to complete the reporting to the allotted colleges by the scheduled date, then the seat allotment will be cancelled automatically. Along with the JoSAA round 6 seat allotment result, the authority will publish the college-wise cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks after a few hours, also on the official website.

JoSAA Seat Allotment 2023 for Round 6: Instructions to Follow
Here are the important instructions related to the JoSAA round 6 seat allotment:
- If the candidates will allot a seat to any of the IITs and any stream, then there will be no provision for getting a better allocation to any other stream in the subsequent round. Hence, the candidates should freeze the option in such a situation
- To get a seat upgradation in NIT in the next round, the candidates can choose the slide or float option
- Candidates should pay Rs 35000 as seat acceptance fees by the scheduled date
- Students should carry the original documents along with the self-attested photocopies to the reporting centre
