KEA or Karnataka Examinations Authority has published the Round 1 seat allotment status on the official website. KCET 2017 qualified candidates who took part in the first round of seat allotment process can check the seat allotment status. The candidates who secured seats in KCET 2017 Round 1 seat allotment must report to the respective institute on or before July 7, 2017. Based on the number of vacant seats in various engineering colleges across the state, KEA will release the second allotment on July 17, 2017. However, the registrations for the second allotment will begin from July 11, 2017.

Process after Round 1 Seat Allotment: -
- The candidates who secured a seat in KCET 2017 Round 1 seat allotment must log in to the official website and pay the seat acceptance fee.
- The admission fee can be paid online.
- The candidates can download the admission letter after the fee payment.
- If the candidate wants to participate in Round 2 seat allotment process, he/she can participate in it.
- Even if the candidate secured a seat in Round 1 and wishes to participate in Round 2, he/she is allowed to participate.
- However, if they secure a seat in Round 2, the seat they secured in Round 1 will be cancelled.
- If they do not secure seat in Round 2, their seat in Round 1 will still be valid.
- If the candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted n Round 1, he/she can take part in Round 2. However, these candidates must reject the seat that was secured in Round 1.
