KEA is going to release the Karnataka DCET 2022 seat allotment result today. Once the seat allottment result is out, allotted candidates will be able to exercise the choices from 20th to 22nd January 2023.

Karnataka DCET seat allotment result 2022 is going to be released today, 20th January 2023, by the Karnataka Education Authority (KEA). Candidates who have applied for the counselling process and filled out the choices for the first round will be able to download the seat allotment result. To check the result, they will have to visit the official website- kea.kar.nic.in . Once the seat allottment result is out, allotted candidates will be able to exercise the choices from 20th to 22nd January 2023. Candidates will also have to report to the college in case they decide to take admission into the allotted institute. The seat allotment result is releasing today and candidates can check the dates for upcoming events-
Events Dates
Publication of first round allotment result 20th January 2023
Exercising choices by the allotted candidates 20th to 22nd January 2023
Payment of fees and downloading of admission order 21st to 24th January 2023
Last date of reporting to college 27th January 2023

Instructions to be followed after Karnataka DCET Seat Allotment 2022

Candidates have four choices to choose from after post-seat allotment-

Choice 1
  • Candidates will be able to accept the seat and pay the admission fee.
  • They will not be able to participate in further rounds of the admission process.
Choice 2
  • Those who have been allotted colleges but want a better college can choose option 2. Seats allotted to them in round 1 will not be canceled.
  • If they get a better seat in round 2 then he/ she can cancel their first seat allotment and choose the second one.
  • They will have to pay the seat acceptance fee.
Choice 3
  • Those who are not satisfied with the first seat allotment can surrender it and opt for the next round of the allotment process.
Choice 4
  • They can give up on the seats and withdraw from all rounds of the counselling process.
