In the schedule given, the release time for the same is said to be after 6 PM. However, it is most likely that the seat allotment announcement will be delayed further. In the many counselling events conducted by KEA, a delay has always been observed, the latest being the mock allotment result. Its timing was also mentioned as 6 PM but instead, it was released after midnight. The candidates can expect their first KCET 2023 seat allotment to be released around midnight as well.

After the release of KCET 2023 seat allotment, the candidates will have to exercise the post-allotment choices, based on their willingness to accept the seat. The schedule to exercise these choices will be released along with the seat allotment. If any of the choices from Choice 1 to Choice 4 is not submitted on the portal within time, then the candidate’s provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled.
It is also important to note that the seat allotment released today is only for Engineering, Architecture, Medical, Dental, Veterinary, Farm Science Courses, B.Pharmacy, and Pharm.D programmes only. The seat allotment for Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Yoga & Naturopathy, and B.Sc Nursing will be conducted from Round 2 onwards once the seat matrix for these courses is confirmed by the Government.
