KCET 2024: KEA to Simplify CET 2024 Process, Highlights

More than 4.5 lac students are expected to participate in next year’s KCET, PGCET and D-CET examinations in Karnataka. To avoid any inconvenience the students earlier faced, KEA has decided to conduct the application events of all three examinations consecutively.

While talking to the press, Ramya S, Executive Director of KEA shared that the government and the KEA department intend to complete the exam processes of all tests while the applicants are in their final year/semesters. This is decided to save the extra time wasted unnecessarily earlier in late exam processes. She further added that the authority is ready to start the counselling process once the government shares the college-wise seat matrix for 2024-25.

One of the key features of the new KEA KCET process 2024 is a single application form for both CET and NEET to avoid duplicacy or overlapping of registration forms. KEA will also conduct the document verification process in online mode. This will be done by using the SATS number provided by the Department of School Education and Literacy. Only the Physically challenged applicants will have to go through offline verification.

To make the students familiar with the new application process, KEA will organise special training sessions at the PU college level.
