KCET Counselling 2022 Round 2 Dates: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the second round of KCET counselling today on its official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Unlike previous years, KEA has allowed option modification in round 2 counselling through which the candidates can add, delete, and rearrange their institute-branch preferences. The modified options saved as on the last date will be considered for second-round seat allocation.
The option entry for KCET counselling round 2 2022 will commence on November 17 (4 PM) while its deadline is November 19 (6 PM). After this round, KEA will conduct a second extended round, also called as casual vacancy round, which will be the final round of KCET 2022 counselling. The schedule for the final round will be released separately after the completion of regular round 2.

Who is Eligible for KCET Round 2 counselling 2022?
Based on the choice option exercised by the candidates in Round 1, their eligibility for KCET round 2 depends. It is as follows:
- Choice 1 and Choice 4: Candidates who exercised Choice 1 (took admission at the allotted institute) or Choice 4 (exit from counselling) are NOT ELIGIBLE for KCET counselling round 2.
- Choice 2 or Choice 3: Candidates who exercised Choice 2 (accepted seat but went for betterment) or Choice 3 (rejected seat and went for betterment) are ELIGIBLE for KCET counselling round 2.
