Kurukshetra University has decided to scrap the entrance exam for admission to M.Tech programmes. The varsity has also extended the last date of application to 25th July.
Kurukshetra University has decided to cancel the entrance exam for M.Tech programmes . The university earlier decided to conduct the entrance for the exam for admission to M.Tech programmes.
Listed below are the M.Tech programmes offered by the Kurukshetra University:
- M.Tech in Biotechnology
- M.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering
- M.Tech in Computer Sc. & Engg.
- M.Tech Energy & Environment Management Engineering
- M.Tech Microelectronics & VLSI Designs Engineering
- M.Tech Mechanical Engg with Spl. in Industrial & Production Engineering
- M.Tech Mechanical Engg. With Spl. in Thermal Engineering
- M.Tech in Software Engineering
- M.Tech Electrical Engineering
- M.Tech Material Science & Technology

The last date to submit the online application form for M.Tech programmes has been extended to July 25, 2018 . Candidates can submit the online application form till July 25, 2018 without paying any late fee. Apart from the application form, candidates are also required to submit the necessary documents and the receipt of fee payment latest by July 30, 2018. They can either submit the same in online mode at the official website or by sending it by post to the concerned department or institute.

The university will adopt a new admission process for M.Tech admissions 2018 as it has scraped the KUK entrance exam. The admission to M.Tech programmes will be done on the basis of valid GATE score i n the concerned subjects and on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam against the number of seats available. The university will not give weightage to any other score while preparing the merit list for admission to M.Tech programmes.
