The Council of Architecture (CoA) has released the new exam pattern and syllabus for NATA 2021. Check the list of new changes introduced in NATA 2021 exam pattern and syllabus here.

NATA 2021 official brochure has been released, and Phase 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 11. The Council of Architecture (CoA) has made several changes in the NATA 2021 exam pattern , and the aim is to test the candidate’s innate ability. The syllabus of NATA 2021 has also been changed accordingly. The candidate will be tested in different aspects in the field of Architecture such as cognitive skills, visual perception, critical thinking ability, logical reasoning etc. This year, all the 125 questions will be mostly based on Aptitude. List of Changes in NATA 2021 Exam Pattern

Here are the changes introduced in NATA 2021 exam pattern –

Variety of Question Type	A variety of question type has been introduced in NATA 2021 such as – Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Preferential Choice Question (PCQ) Numerical Answer Type (NAQ)
Changes in Marking Scheme	NATA 2021 question paper will be a combination of 1 mark, 2 marks and 3 marks questions. However, CoA did not specify the number of questions under each mark slab. The question paper will have a total of 125 questions for 200 marks.
New Topics Introduced in Aptitude	The questions from Aptitude in NATA 2021 will be from a variety of topics such as – Diagrammatic Reasoning Numerical Reasoning Verbal Reasoning Inductive Reasoning Situational Judgment Logical Reasoning Abstract Reasoning

As per the official brochure of NATA 2021, there is no Drawing Test. The questions will be completely based on Aptitude. The detailed syllabus has not been specified by CoA for the topics mentioned above. The candidates will need to refer to the books of various competitive exams for the Reasoning syllabus.
