Lucknow University to Opt for high speed Wi-Fi in Campus

Lucknow University is planning to provide high speed Wi-Fi facility to its students and teachers wihting the campus. University is in talks with a government agency to equip the campus phase-wise. 10 phase plan is going to start with a modular system installation in the university's computer centre. University Vice-Chancellor S B Nimse has asked heads of all departments to work comprehensively on this plan.

In the first phase, all academic areas will be covered followed by all hostels. Atul Srivastava, who is working on the system told reporters, “We are working on a standard solution through standard procedure to make the campus Wi-Fi,''.

Poor Internet speed has been a hurdle for all teachers and students. There are many students and teachers who have no Internet connection at all and university wants to provide them free of cost to make their 'E-Campus' plan successful.
