Magadh University has decided to implement an online examination form submission for Part-I degree programs, opting out of the traditional Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) instilled earlier. The online form submission for Magadh University will be in effect from the 2018-2019 session of the Part-I degree program. The main reason which has compelled the university to opt for online examination forms is the increasing mistakes in terms of OMR sheet filling including spelling mistakes, incorrect course selection, and several others.
The controller of exams at Magadh University, Binod Singh apprised the idea of introducing the online examination forms for Part-I degree forms on December, 11. In context to this, the vice-chancellor of Magadh University, Prof. Rajendra Prasad said that he will ensure that the academic records of MU, along with the online form submission for the part-I degree program are fully digitalized.

It is advised for the students, who want to fill the examination form for Part-I degree program, to visit the official site of Magadh University at https://magadhuniversity.ac.in/ and follow the form submission guidelines. Online examination forms can be filled until December 19th, 2019 without late fees. The students who fill the form after December 19th will have to pay a late submission fee. The online examination form for the Part-I degree program will be closed on December 23, 2019. As per the instructions, the students will have to download the submitted form receipt and visit the university at the allotted date to pay the examination fees. The examination fees collected by the university will be dispatched latest by 5th January 2020.

Majorly, the online form submission facility will be availed by the colleges located in the five districts of the Magadh division. The divisions include the colleges enrolled with Magadh University after Patliputra University; including Gaya, Aurangabad, Arwal, Nawada, and Jehanabad. Meanwhile, the students who are enrolled with the Patliputra University and have either partially passed or failed the Part-I degree programs will be liable to fill the manual forms at their colleges located at Patna and Nalanda division.
